It's been a while. I had to make a choice -- painting or blogging about not painting. Here is the fruit of my labor since February. It still needs tweaking but needed to have a little vacation from it to get some perspective.

Well I can see why you haven't been blogging. This is beautiful, and obviously consumed a lot of your time. I especially love the left side of her face . . . the eye and cheekbone are spectacular. But then again, so is the entire painting!
